The client was passionate about camping. The creative brief was riddled with memories of his childhood and the simplicity of original products. The challenge was — how do we apply that to a company marketing to Silicon Valley tech?
The bold sans-serif type stood on it’s own and supported a clean, simple aesthetic. The color palette was used to create that nostalgic feeling and reminiscent of Eddie Bauer’s early camp collections.
The hand-drawn illustrations for the instructional guide were a great opportunity to extend the identity and really play up the passion behind the branding.
